Key Responsibilities

  • Support the retail manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that all customers receive outstanding service and high-quality products.
  • Supervise various aspects of retail functions, including store displays, opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and product quality assurance.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to team members regarding training, job responsibilities, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures through the completion of managerial checklists.
  • Communicate regularly with retail management to identify strengths, opportunities, and business trends.
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain a safe and welcoming work environment.
  • Assist customers promptly and efficiently, particularly during peak times.
  • Exemplify desired behaviors for staff, including driving sales and managing customer interactions.
  • Maintain compliance with the company dress code and ensure team members do the same.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Act as the acting manager in the absence of the retail manager.
  • Enforce all company policies related to health, safety, and security.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in accordance with company protocols.
  • Facilitate training for new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the food sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • ServSafe Certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
