Dermatology Physician and Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Physician and Scientist to join our team at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a member of the Division of Dermatology, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting ambulatory clinics and performing relevant dermatology procedures. You will also be responsible for interviewing patients, obtaining and reviewing medical history, and determining, prescribing, and implementing treatment plans and/or medications required.

• Provide high-quality patient care services in dermatology, including conducting ambulatory clinics and performing relevant procedures.
• Interview patients, obtain and review medical history, and determine, prescribe, and implement treatment plans and/or medications required.
• Direct and participate in quality assessment and improvement activities, and serve as a preceptor and provide bedside training of residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals.
• Ensure continuing medical education requirements are met, and participate in department, college, medical center, and university committees and other service activities.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine required; active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required.
• Completion of an accredited residency in internal medicine and a fellowship training program in dermatology required.

• Demonstrated scholarly achievement and a commitment to excellence in cutaneous biology research.
• Interest in expanding departmental infrastructure in basic and translational science.
