Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Industrial Engineer who is committed to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring product excellence. This role is essential in analyzing and refining supply chain processes while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical/Industrial Engineer will be responsible for:
- Evaluating supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Developing and maintaining specifications for component manufacturing while conducting thorough design analyses.
- Collaborating with suppliers and engineering firms to innovate and test new products.
- Documenting all processes during component development and conducting performance tests.
- Building strong relationships with finance, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimize vendor selection.
- Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Establishing quality control protocols in collaboration with the QA team to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain and logistics.
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives; Lean Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in regulated industries is required, with a preference for candidates familiar with FRA and AAR standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
