The Senior Client Service Associate, Commercial Risk collaborates closely with advisors, specialists in various lines of business, and dedicated client service professionals to analyze client information, assess needs, and assist in developing effective risk management strategies aimed at achieving clients' financial objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares premium allocations.
- Drafts and updates renewal proposals.
- Creates documents for presenting risks to the market.
- Prepares applications, summaries of insurance, and other coverage-related documents.
- Supports client service teams in the development of presentation materials.
- Analyzes and summarizes complex data and compiles reports independently.
- Records data into appropriate insurance company and firm software systems.
- Processes intricate audits and completes audit worksheets.
- Reviews contract requirements for complex certification requests.
- Conducts in-depth reviews of quotes.
- Quotes flood and builder's risk policies as requested by an Account Manager.
- Handles processed-based quoting for assigned accounts.
- Manages the renewal of bonds and flood policies.
- Identifies and follows up on binding subjectivities.
- Trains and mentors junior Analysts.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Seeks opportunities to enhance the firm, business segment, and processes.
- Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the insurance sector required; 3+ years preferred.
- Certification: None required; none preferred.
- Licenses: Must maintain all licenses as mandated by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm operates or be willing to obtain all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to learn any other relevant software systems utilized by the firm as necessary.
