The Guest Services Agent Overnight is a critical role in ensuring the success of our hotel operations. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, while also maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process guest transactions, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including front office logs and guest information.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in a related field (e.g. hospitality, business) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds is also required.
