About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Director to join our team at Carnival Cruise Lines. As a key member of our corporate security team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our information assets, ensuring compliance with security policies, and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize, oversee, and manage security and compliance-related projects and business-as-usual activities, ensuring successful execution and reporting.
  • Propose and allocate funds for security tools, software, and hardware to protect our information assets.
  • Budget for risk assessments, penetration testing, and other security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements related to information security.
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines for our brand IT.
  • Manage and allocate resources to ensure sufficient security capabilities are in place to meet the security requirements of our domains.
  • Collaborate with security domains, peer BISOs, brand IT leaders, audit, and other brand stakeholder groups to share best practices and manage expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Security.
  • Desired certifications: CISM, CISSP.
  • 8-12 years of experience in roles relevant to information security, with 2-3 years of team management or leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding and familiarity with core concepts of network security, security architecture, security operation, vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, security awareness program, and threat intelligence.
  • Experience with security technologies and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption, access control, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Team management, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
