Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency
  • Lead a team of nursing and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission and CMS
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources to achieve financial targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, patients, and families

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in perioperative services, with a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California, with Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
  • National Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) or equivalent
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
