Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled RN to join our team as a CV Observation Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, including moderate sedation, and assess patient needs
- Coordinate care of patients pre, post, and sometimes interim procedures
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care
- Participate in departmental performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Graduate from a school of nursing
- Current RN License or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- At least one year of experience in ICU, ER, PCU, or telemetry required
- Previous cardiovascular lab, perioperative, or procedural area experience preferred
This role offers a great learning environment, with a variety of patients and procedures to keep your skills sharp. You will work closely with a great team, with each member critical and valued. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 12-hour shifts from 6am-6pm, with no weekends or holidays.
