Job Title: Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our Detailer/Drafting team at Design and Production Incorporated. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating technical shop drawings for the manufacturing and fabrication of our multi-million-dollar, multi-year projects.

Job Scope:

Our Detailer/Drafting team is responsible for creating technical shop drawings for the manufacturing and fabrication of our projects. You will be a contributing member of our team, working on projects that have among the highest number of visitors within the museum industry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, high-end cabinetry, or interior build.
  • Strong drafting skills and knowledge of Bills of Material and material properties.
  • Ability to work creatively and independently to engage in self-directed product research and provide workable solutions to highly imaginative design challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues.
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques, equipment, and processes a plus.
