Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role in assisting the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing, and monitoring of adherence to established quality processes and standards for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine and non-routine analyses, which may include cGMP release and characterization testing utilizing various analytical techniques such as potency assays, PCR (ddPCR, qPCR), Immunoassays (ELISA), chromatography (HPLC-UV, HPLC ELSD, HPLC-MS), spectrophotometry, AUC, and electrophoresis (CE, PAGE, western blot).
  • Responsible for a limited range of laboratory support functions and procedures as assigned, developing proficiency in fundamental technical skills and procedures within the designated discipline.
  • May be assigned to specific areas but will support all necessary laboratory and assay functions, including maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, logbook management, equipment usage, and updates to existing operating procedures.

Demonstrates the ability to adhere to assigned work schedules with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Notifies management and initiates events (such as Laboratory Investigations) within the quality systems, with guidance from senior analysts.

Participates in special projects focused on analytical and instrument troubleshooting through the execution of assays. Gains familiarity with basic process improvement methodologies, learning and applying concepts of lean laboratory practices and six sigma relevant to the QC lab.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific disciplines such as Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Ability to learn and apply professional skills.
  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Typically receives detailed instructions on all tasks.

Location:
Onsite position with varying shifts.

Compensation:
$23-$33/hour based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Contract duration: 6+ months. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401k.
