About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Therapy Place Inc. As a Speech Therapist, you will be meeting with new patients, assessing their speech needs, and creating personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions and gathering essential information.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create customized treatment plans, working closely with patients to set short and long-term goals for their speech and wellness.
  • Implement treatment plans, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes and providing ongoing support to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient needs, care, and outcomes using our web-based clinic system.
  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, such as BCBA, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Requirements

  • Active N.J. state license for practicing speech therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with the Autistic population, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
