Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Representative to join our team at Arizona Building Supply. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, shipping, and counting inventory items in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to stock lumber and building materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Participate in a positive work environment and assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials, and count and record receipt of materials.
  • Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.
  • Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines.
  • Operate facility equipment as necessary, including forklifts, banders, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Monitor inventory as required by location management.
  • Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies, such as inventory control systems and other necessary business applications.
