Key Responsibilities:

  • Document journal entries accurately.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank and other accounts.
  • Assist with various accounting and financial operations, including:
    • Accounts Payable

    • Collections
    • Bank Deposits
  • Support the maintenance of client matters related to the finance department.
  • Contribute to budget and forecasting preparation and analysis.
  • Perform general ledger account analysis.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve client inquiries.
  • Safeguard the firm's value by maintaining confidentiality of information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Two to three years of foundational accounting experience in a professional services setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Rippe/Surepoint is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting software is required.
  • Previous interaction with law firms or professional services clients is advantageous.
  • Team-oriented work ethic.
