Job Overview

Setpoint Systems Corporation is a leading provider of building automation systems and solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer 1 - Controls Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design of HVAC temperature control systems, lighting and access control systems, and wire drawings and floor plans.
  • Analysis and Estimation: Assist in cost estimates for control systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC systems, and design/build budgeting.
  • Communication: Work with customers to collect key information and ensure the finished design meets their needs.
  • Training and Development: Study and use internal resources, including training materials and vendor training classes, to gain expert knowledge of Delta product lines and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in building control systems.
  • Skills: Introductory knowledge of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems, analytical and organizational skills, and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Credentials: LEED GA/AP, CEM, PE, and association with ASHRAE.
