Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our Downtown team at Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York (VRMNY).

This role involves performing preliminary screening for physicians, including obtaining ocular and medical history, visual acuity measuring, applanation tonometry, pupil and basic motility assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology, with experience working in a clinical setting. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) is also a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostic testing, assisting with office flow, sterilizing and setting up instruments, and maintaining equipment used in the clinic.
