Job Summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Lead to join our team. As a key member of our line clearance crew, you will be responsible for supervising a team of arborists and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of vegetation management projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a line clearance crew and plan daily work assignments
  • Assign tasks to individual crew members and direct the crew in performing work according to accepted line clearance practices
  • Enforce safe work practices and conduct safety training in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Obtain permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and apply herbicides
  • Keep accurate records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance
  • Communicate effectively with customers, police, and fire departments as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
  • Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques
  • Ability to communicate professionally with the public, customers, and fellow employees
  • Valid commercial driver's license and medical card
  • Herbicide applicator or operator certification and license as required by Wright Tree Service and local, state, and federal law
Working Conditions

Work will be performed in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with exposure to hazardous equipment, energized power lines, and excessive noise. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
