Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant in the Digestive Health Procedure Center, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include calling patients prior to procedures to review documentation and provide instructions, assisting with MyChart messages and refills, and working in collaboration with the team to provide patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to provide patient care

• Assist with MyChart messages and refills
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, licensure as an LPN, or completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program
• Certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or eligibility for certification
• CPR/BLS certification
