Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing electrical engineering studies, plans, and designs for our transmission and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex electrical engineering studies, plans, and specifications for transmission and distribution systems.
  • Design and implement electrical systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the utility industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and automated engineering tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial power systems or electric utility power systems.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Codes and industry standards.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary.
