Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Northern Gold Foods Ltd. in a climate-controlled facility.

This is a Tuesday to Friday, 2:30PM to 1:00AM position that requires the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and operate a forklift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile daily open orders and schedule shipments
  • Complete schedule boards for outbound trucks and review production to report issues to the crew
  • Inspect trailers and confirm truck inspection reports have been completed
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork and enter shipment information into our systems
  • Advise maintenance and management of needed repairs and participate in month-end inventory
  • Follow GMP and Safety Guidelines
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment and meet forklift certification requirements
Work Environment
  • Exposure to allergens such as grain and/or dust
  • Varying temperatures and exposure to cleaning odors and insect sprays
