Mammography Imaging Specialist

University Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic exams and collaborating with our interpreting physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography exams using state-of-the-art equipment and adhere to ACR guidelines and MQSA regulations.
- Collaborate with Lead Interpreting Physicians (LIPs) to ensure accurate diagnoses and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all breast imaging performed meets quality control and quality assurance requirements.
- Assist in training and evaluating new mammography staff and contribute to the development of department protocols.
- May be required to assist in other modalities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a radiology program.
- ARRT certification and maintenance of registration status.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain CPR certification.
- Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in mammography and certification as an RT (R) (M).
