Job Summary

University Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic exams and collaborating with our interpreting physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography exams using state-of-the-art equipment and adhere to ACR guidelines and MQSA regulations.
  • Collaborate with Lead Interpreting Physicians (LIPs) to ensure accurate diagnoses and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all breast imaging performed meets quality control and quality assurance requirements.
  • Assist in training and evaluating new mammography staff and contribute to the development of department protocols.
  • May be required to assist in other modalities as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a radiology program.
  • ARRT certification and maintenance of registration status.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in mammography and certification as an RT (R) (M).
