Key Responsibilities- Perform all level I tech duties and responsibilities, including decontamination, sterilization, and processing of medical instruments and equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of processing department equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify and manage specialty instruments and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory and ordering.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain sterility of supplies and trays, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Deliver and interpret requested supplies and items, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Prioritize and respond to a variety of situations, including emergency situations, and maintain a high level of professionalism and composure.
- Organize and manage high-volume cases, ensuring timely and efficient processing and delivery.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of experience in sterile processing, with a proven track record of competency in instrumentation setup, decontamination, and sterilization.
- Knowledge and competency of different types of sterilization equipment and medical supplies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to demonstrate competency in computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
