Job Description

As a Controls System Specialist, you will be responsible for leading on-site projects, planning, and implementing solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. You will work closely with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify project requirements, develop detailed designs, and ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring accurate and cost-effective installation and completion of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop detailed designs.
  • Perform or delegate tasks as required to implement and fully complete assigned projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and project closeout.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and profitable and accurate project financial results.
  • Actively pursue additional work through change orders and ensure compliance with all safety standards.

What We Look for

  • A minimum of a technical associate's degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience.
  • Relevant Building Automation Systems design and commissioning experience, as well as applicable licensing, certifications, and hands-on experience.
  • Strong personal computer skills, knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting, and the ability to perform work independently.
