Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, elevators, and assigned spaces. This role also involves delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk and driving a shuttle van when needed. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, elevators, and assigned spaces.
  • Deliver service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
  • Drive a shuttle van when needed.
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards.
  • Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of the shift.
  • Complete daily assignment checklists and submit to the supervisor at the end of the day.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
