Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AV Installation Manager to join our team at Inter Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing a team of technicians responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee a team of technicians responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems
  • Coordinate and schedule installation teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Train and oversee level one and level two technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete installations
  • Troubleshoot and repair audio and video equipment installations
  • Install and terminate cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector
  • Drill in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for the purpose of installing projectors, projection screens, cameras, and speaker systems
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights in excess of 10ft
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in AV team leadership and management
  • CTS certification is required
  • CTS-I certification or the ability to achieve certification within 12 months of start date
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours
  • Strong communication skills and experience directing teams
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software
  • Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools, and industrial tools
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly
  • Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Valid driver's license with less than two citations in the last two years and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and complete ladder and other safety training
Working Conditions

Work can be in normal comfortable air-conditioned environments, but will also include less comfortable cold or hot construction environments and on rare occasion, tasks require work outdoors.
