Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Technician at US Tech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the adequacy of our products and compliance to requirements. Your responsibilities will include dispositions of production events related to part and material non-conformances, monitoring metrics consistent with job responsibilities, and supporting Plant Safety programs to provide a safe working environment. You will also be responsible for achieving applicable department requirements for safety, quality, and cost, as well as identifying root cause and improving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequacy of product quality and compliance to requirements
- Disposition production events related to part and material non-conformances
- Monitor metrics consistent with job responsibilities
- Support Plant Safety programs to provide a safe working environment
- Achieve applicable department requirements for safety, quality, and cost
- Identify root cause and improve issues
Requirements:
- Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous quality control experience in manufacturing or technical functions
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Experience with procedure and work instruction interpretation
