Commercial Project Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project Superintendent to join our team at AUI Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of commercial projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Work closely with the project manager to plan, organize, and execute project execution.
  • Ensure tight communication on delays, issues, or concerns regarding schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate job site workforce and subcontractor workforce for timely project completion.
  • Manage the project closeout process, demobilizing all resources.
  • Monitor and enforce AUI Partners' Safety Program.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and stored properly.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate policies, procedures, and processes to prevent problems.
  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with all stakeholders, including AUI employees, subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, engineers, and regulatory entities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
