Exciting Opportunity for a DDC/BAS Controls Specialist

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled DDC/BAS Controls Specialist. This position is essential for the successful design, startup, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC Direct Digital Controls projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced building automation systems.
  • Analyze and interpret technical plans and drawings for the startup and commissioning of HVAC Direct Digital Controls.
  • Utilize essential software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows, Visio, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, SiteBuilder, and Eikon.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, Ethernet networks, and HVAC DDC I/O instruments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within DDC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement operational sequences and programming logic into control software.
  • Identify and rectify software and electrical installation issues.
  • Fine-tune control algorithms (PID's) for enhanced system performance.
  • Update and modify HVAC DDC system graphics, setpoints, and drawings.
  • Address customer inquiries to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Track orders for products and equipment using office software tools.
  • Collaborate with external specialists to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or five or more years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, Windows-based systems, and Direct Digital Controls.
  • Experience with platforms such as Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, or Automated Logic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
