The Role:

Contribute to the definition of product requirements and specifications for new Serdes solutions. Collaborate with controller teams to understand Serdes requirements for new product definitions. Work with internal teams for Serdes integration and provide design, verification, and firmware support.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with engineers across various AMD design, verification, and validation teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product requirements and specifications for new Serdes solutions
  • Collaborate with controller teams to understand Serdes requirements
  • Work with internal teams for Serdes integration and provide design, verification, and firmware support
  • Lead internal and external teams to resolve complex technical problems related to Serdes usage
  • Support internal and external customers for Serdes applications
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as Ethernet and PCIe
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Academic Credentials:

BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
