Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned High-Speed Interface Technologist to lead our Serdes Applications Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SoC architectures and system-level design practices, as well as experience with interface and connectivity protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, USB, MIPI, 112G, and 56G.
Responsibilities- Lead a high-performing team of application engineers to develop and implement solutions for customers.
- Develop strategies to win deals and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs.
- Develop and present complex technical requirements, problems, and solutions to customers and internal teams.
- Manage and support customer engagements through on-site or remote technical interactions, demos, and evaluations.
- Influence the IP product development roadmap by communicating customer needs to the product R&D teams.
- MSEE with 15+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Management experience leading a highly technical team.
- Understanding of latest SoC architectures and system-level design practices.
- Prior experience and knowledge of one or more interface and connectivity protocols.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art SoC design implementation.
Cadence offers a competitive salary range of $138,600 to $257,400, as well as incentive compensation, benefits, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
