Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Randstad USA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including replacing controls, motors, and other components.
  • Perform building maintenance duties, including electrical, heating and cooling, carpentry, and plumbing tasks.
  • Work from general assignments and provide guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Engineer to order maintenance supplies and spare parts, and participate in troubleshooting with the machine tool manufacturer.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of mechanical and electrical tools, including welding and fabrication equipment.
