Job Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication development in a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans in collaboration with the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP, focusing on improving students' articulation, fluency, and language skills.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback and updates to the SLP and school staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and support students' overall development.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay updated on the latest practices and strategies in speech-language therapy.
Qualifications
  • Valid SLPA license or certification in Georgia.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for progress tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic school setting.
