Key Responsibilities:- Ensure patient satisfaction by meeting and exceeding stated expectations.
- Provide alternatives to menu options as allowed on prescribed diets, taking into account food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to evaluate patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval processes.
- Resolve patient concerns or complaints promptly and report concerns to supervisors as necessary.
- Assist in the responsibility for all food service-related activities, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of food service experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
- Some knowledge of food trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate with management, clients, customers, and associates.
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
