The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of the position.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Medical Education Expert to teach in various learning environments and contribute to the development of future healthcare leaders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing our College's philosophy and curriculum through engaging classroom, online, and clinical teaching.
  • Collaborating on didactic and clinical curriculum planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Serving as a course coordinator or team instructor, managing both autonomous and shared teaching responsibilities.
  • Providing meaningful feedback to students, supporting their advising and counseling needs, and assisting with remediation.
  • Helping manage databases and evaluating data on student performance, faculty evaluations, national exam results, and more.
  • Participating in the review and revision of the program's mission and academic policies, and contributing to the admissions process.
  • Serving as a mentor for students and faculty, promoting professionalism and collaboration within the College and community.
  • Engaging in professional organizations to promote the PA profession and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree or higher.
  • Two years of full-time teaching experience or three years of clinical experience as a PA.
  • Experiential preparedness to teach assigned courses.
  • NCCPA certified physician assistant (PA-C).
  • Maintenance of current regulatory and practice credentials, as appropriate, based on assignment.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
  • Meeting all compliance requirements as specified in the Faculty Handbook.
