Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in radiation oncology and application development. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data and application development lifecycle methodologies, as well as experience with healthcare operations and structure.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, support, and lead integrated solutions for application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS).
- Provide expert application and technical support to ensure that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained.
- Lead complex triage and troubleshooting assistance to product clients, engage in problem management identification, classification, and resolution activities within applications.
- Support clinical applications, general understanding of technical infrastructure and dependencies, knowledge of DICOM & HL7, project management, design, testing, and technical functions.
- Software upgrades, installations, and maintenance, implementation, troubleshooting, and training, knowledge/experience of Microsoft, Citrix, Remote access, familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance guidelines relevant to radiation oncology IS systems.
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Typical experience: 2 years recent relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies.
- Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
- Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure, as well as Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
- Advanced understanding of downstream applications and core systems integration.
- Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
- Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
This position can work from home within the Sutter Health Northern California footprint, but has regular onsite work at ambulatory and acute facilities.

Pay RangeThe salary range for this role is $44.28 to $66.42 per hour.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
