Night Auditor

Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Hilton Mystic, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing and compiling management reports, and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions, including credit card transactions, to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Review and compile management reports, including financial statements and statistical reports, to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Ensure the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions, including resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Perform guest services functions as required, including check-in, check-out, and reservations.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports, including the Daily Operating Report and Tax Reports, according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and distribute month-end reports, including financial statements and statistical reports.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events or deviations from policies or procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Overnight shift availability, including 11pm-7am shifts.
