ASCP Senior Medical Technologist Position

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to lead our laboratory team in delivering superior quality and excellence in patient care.
As a key member of our team, you will oversee laboratory operations, perform intricate tests, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in diagnostic procedures.
- Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement new laboratory techniques and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide clinical correlation.
Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team are essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, and ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), are required. 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with progressive responsibility, is preferred.
