Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care, and rehabilitation services for athletes with sports-related injuries.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs to minimize the risk of injury.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat injuries.
  • Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited athletic training program.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Certification through the Board of Certification, Inc.
  • Professional Rescuer CPR or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to work occasional odd hours, including weekends and travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in athletic training or a related field.
  • National Athletic Trainers Association certification as an athletic trainer.
