Activity Planning and Execution Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an Activity Planning and Execution Specialist to join our team at Westchester Country Club. As a key member of our Publicity team, you will be responsible for planning and executing member events and activities that meet and exceed our high standards.

About the Job:

  1. You will work closely with various teams to plan and organize member events and activities, including reserving space and managing headcounts.
  2. Lead the preparation and execution of Summer Camp registration and daily operation, ensuring seamless communication with members and staff.
  3. Oversee the execution of member events and activities, ensuring all requests are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete tasks and assignments assigned by the Publicity Director, including planning and organizing member events and activities.
  • Manage effective communications and maintain working relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Assist the Director of Publicity with booking of third-party vendors for all member events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing social events, preferably in a private club or luxury hotel setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Mac platform, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office required.
  • Able to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to adapt to changes in real-time.

Salary Range:

$32-$34 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience.
