Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Day shifts with rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct specimen processing and perform pre-analytical evaluations for accurate identification.
- Execute a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples and assess the results meticulously.
- Review and assess new or revised procedures, reagents, and instruments as instructed by the Section Coordinator.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with laboratory instruments as directed.
- Preferred experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
- Must possess an Associate's degree from a NCCLS accredited Medical Technician program.
- Certification as a Medical Technician (ASCP/AMT/AAB) is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry is required.
- National Certification (ASCP/AMT/AAB) is necessary.
