KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare food orders at the expeditor station or assist the Chef/Sous Chef in assembling food orders, ensuring accuracy according to the servers' tickets.
  • Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests, adhering to service standards.
  • Assist food servers and bussers by clearing used dishes and replenishing beverages.
  • Perform side duties and any required opening or closing tasks, ensuring cleanliness and organization of wait staff stations and expediting areas throughout the shift.
  • Notify management of any service or safety concerns, implementing appropriate recovery actions as per established guidelines to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate additional guest requests to food servers without delay.
  • Foster and maintain a positive work atmosphere; encourage team member relations and report issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
  • Prior experience in food service is preferred.
  • Experience and/or training in customer service is advantageous.
  • A valid WA State Food Health Card/Food Handlers Permit is required.
  • A valid WA State Class 12 Alcohol Permit is necessary.
SUCCESS FACTORS
  • Understanding of health and safety standards, as well as required safety regulations.
  • Ability to maintain a polished appearance and uphold a professional demeanor.
  • Capable of following specific instructions, both verbal and written. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Availability - Willingness to work different shifts, including holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Physical -Ability to navigate all areas of the casino, including ascending and descending stairs, with frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods focusing on tasks. Capability to lift at least 25 lbs. Regularly required to lift/move, push, or pull materials or boxes essential to job functions, with or without assistance.
  • Environment -Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working in the gaming area.
