About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jobot, a leading food manufacturing company specializing in authentic Asian cuisine. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassembling equipment.
  • Understand and implement machine automation, PLC, and hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
  • Maintain records of each inspection, repair, and maintenance task for future reference.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve our processes and systems.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient mechanical skills, with a deep understanding of the functionality and components of different types of machinery.
  • Strong preventive maintenance and repairing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Solid electrical skills, with the ability to safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience with PLC, machine automation, and hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members and departments.
  • A commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
