Position Overview:

As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with contractors and government personnel to address client requirements and fulfill the outlined responsibilities. The Senior Consultant will engage directly with Process Owners and provide timely progress reports to document the advancement of deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Documenting and distributing A2R Process Owner Meeting Minutes
  2. Providing Weekly and Monthly Project Status Reports to the technical representative
  3. Submitting Trip/Travel Reports as necessary
  4. Supporting A2R stakeholders in preparing for and conducting annual audit walkthroughs
  5. Creating and delivering A2R-related audit remediation packets
  6. Assisting Assessable Units (AU) stakeholders in formulating, updating, and submitting Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to Audit PMO bi-monthly
  7. Coordinating client stakeholder responses to Notices of Findings & Recommendations (NFR)
  8. Helping AU stakeholders in understanding and responding to Prepared-By-Client (PBC) requests within deadlines
  9. Executing any requested audit testing as directed by the client (e.g., beginning balance)
  10. Assisting the client in addressing periodic CFO fluctuation analysis
  11. Developing and delivering A2R-focused training sessions to stakeholders as requested by the client
  12. Creating and delivering A2R process flowcharts, narratives, and testing procedures as required
  13. Researching, documenting, and submitting accounting white papers to aid A2R stakeholders with historical or alternative value equipment assets
  14. Providing status reports and briefings to client leadership as necessary

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required
  • Experience in acquisitions within the Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) financial sector
  • Proficiency in audit readiness, internal controls, and OMB A-123 requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with key stakeholders and process owners
  • Good understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) federal financial regulations, standards, and processes
  • Certification in Accounting or Financial Management is advantageous

At Blake Willson Group, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices. For this role, we offer a competitive salary range of $63,280 to $169,800 in the United States. Your specific salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
