We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Rady Children's Hospital. This is a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
Salary: $2595.0 per week, paid biweekly
About the JobThis role requires a highly skilled and dedicated nurse who can provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a PICU nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to critically ill children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Minimum Requirements:
- Current California RN license
- At least 2 years of recent independent experience in PICU
- Cardiac experience required
- Experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG
Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Flu vaccine required
