This role reports directly to the Owner and will oversee the daily maintenance functions of our residential rental property portfolio, which spans the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro area and neighboring Minnesota suburbs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and Resolve Maintenance Issues.
  • Execute Repairs Based on Diagnostic Assessments.
  • Engage Subcontractors for Repairs When Necessary.
  • Negotiate Terms and Pricing with Subcontractors.
  • Manage Required Permits as Directed by Local Authorities.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • FULL-TIME ROLE. ON-CALL FOR NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS.
  • COMPENSATION RANGING FROM $18 TO $25 PER HOUR (BASED ON EXPERIENCE).

Compensation is based on experience. If you demonstrate the personal attributes and responsibilities outlined above, even without extensive experience, your starting pay will be closer to $18 per hour, with potential to grow to $25 per hour and beyond. EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES:

  • Familiarity with Home Systems: Understanding the Purpose of Gutters, Differences Between HVAC and Boiler Systems.
  • Handy Skills: Ability to Change Light Bulbs, Knowledge of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors, and Types of Fire Extinguishers.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of Proper Placement for Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Fire Extinguishers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma with 5+ Years of General Maintenance Experience.
  • Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
