Shuttle Driver Position Summary

The Shuttle Driver transports guests by driving a golf cart or a 15-passenger or smaller bus within the assigned campus, providing safe shuttling service, exceptional customer service, and a warm and friendly arrival and departure experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a courteous manner; provide premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help
  • Shuttle guests in a 15-passenger vehicle or smaller, or a golf cart, to and from their cars to various locations on the location campus
  • Communicate with customers and staff who have general inquiries about parking, parking locations, and guest services
  • Use and maintain equipment properly, including keeping equipment clean
  • Work independently and as part of the team
  • Observe safety precautions at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Sit for up to six (6) consecutive hours
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • A clean driving record and current driver license must be maintained
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Expected to constantly work in all outdoor weather conditions
  • Must follow appropriate grooming standards; required to wear appropriate uniform
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and handle or feel.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and will be frequently required to sit.

The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to remain in a stationary position for extended period.
