Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Piping/Plumbing Project Engineer to lead the engineering design process on assigned projects within our Buildings Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing piping/plumbing systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client, and project partner needs.
  • Lead the discipline team in implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, innovative, and holistic engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
Requirements
  • BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
  • 10+ years of experience designing piping/plumbing systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities.
  • Professional engineering registration preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.
