Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team at FSRI. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and supervision to 5 youth aged 16-21 who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily guidance and support to residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Implement and maintain Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) in the milieu setting.
  • Develop and facilitate daily groups and activities for youth in the program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
Requirements
  • Empathetic and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as scheduled.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a minimum of three seats in addition to the driver's seat.
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6% above base pay.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to and from community locations and residential site locations.
  • Ability to utilize a computer and Electronic Medical Record to complete documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to push or pull 10lbs or more.
  • Ability to pick up 10lbs or more.
