Job Overview

Position Summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a dedicated Claims Analyst to assist in the oversight of the claims program. This role is pivotal in processing claims, liaising with third-party administrators, and providing support within the Risk Management division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily claim reporting and maintain communication with all parties involved in the claims process.
  • Assist in gathering documentation for cases that are under litigation.
  • Apply risk management and claims handling strategies effectively.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer support across various company locations.
  • Help compile data for reports and performance reviews.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in claims processing or risk management.
  • A High School Diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with risk management and insurance principles is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Minimum Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid Adjuster License.
  • At least 2 years of experience in adjusting workers' compensation claims.
  • This position requires on-site work.
