Responsibilities:


As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of residents, utilizing mobility aids such as wheelchairs or recliners, ensuring minimal wait times for our residents.


Your role will include ensuring the safety of residents upon their return to their rooms, which encompasses making sure that call bells are within reach, securing wheelchair brakes, and promptly informing nursing staff of the resident's arrival.


You will prepare treatment areas and equipment for use, ensuring cleanliness with approved sanitizing solutions between resident sessions.


In addition, you will provide essential non-clinical support to licensed professionals, enabling them to carry out their responsibilities effectively.


Communication is vital; you will promptly relay any patient concerns to the treating therapist.


Your duties will also involve performing routine non-clinical patient care tasks, managing inventory supplies, completing necessary paperwork, and updating patient records.


Furthermore, you will handle telephone inquiries, schedule appointments, and respond to patient questions.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

A High School Diploma is required.

Ability to assist with physical tasks such as patient transportation is essential.

Attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively are crucial.

Strong communication skills with therapists, staff, and patients are necessary.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment is expected.

Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, is preferred.
