Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic and advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
  • Supervise other emergency personnel at the scene
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with emergency physicians and charge nurses
  • Document patient care records accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Paramedic
  • Current CT Paramedic License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science
  • AHA BLS certification
  • PHTLS/ITLS certification
  • TECC/TCCC certification
  • NRP certification
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a standard schedule of 16 hours per week. Shifts can vary based on department needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
